Blue Lake Pre-School
Blue Lake Preschool is a quality preschool that is dedicated to nurturing and empowering young children to learn and grow in a safe and challenging environment. They believe in creating a setting for children that will foster positive self-esteem and prepare them for a successful, long-term, educational experience. Blue Lake Preschool is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and has had a Qualistar rating since 2005.

Colorado Rocky Mountain School
Colorado Rocky Mountain School’s emphasis on growth, creativity, and leadership is rooted in their philosophical foundations and is present in everything that they do at our school. When John and Anne Holden founded this school, they did so under the principle that all the work would have meaning. They were inspired by John Dewey’s emphasis on usable knowledge and experiences to produce ideal citizens. This translates into a desire to educate beyond college, with our mission being to cultivate a learning environment in which they prepare our students for all the roles and responsibilities that they will take on throughout their adult lives. They believe that young people want to make a difference in the world, and strive to make a great difference in their lives.

Cornerstone Classical School of Basalt
We aim to graduate young men and women who think clearly and listen carefully with discernment and understanding; who reason persuasively and articulate precisely; who are capable of evaluating their entire range of experience in the light of the Scriptures; and who do so with eagerness in joyful submission to God. They offer classes from Pre-school through High School.

Early Childhood Center
Exceptional toddler and pre-K education setting itself apart since 1989. They offer a progressive, child-centered curriculum with a gifted and highly-skilled teaching staff. Their intimate setting has the lowest student/teacher ratios. Their breathtaking campus overlooks Woody Creek and the Elk Mountains.

Growing Years School
Growing Years School is a school where a child can become self-confident and self-disciplined; where the child’s individual talents and strengths are developed; where home and school cooperate; and where staff is open to learning, using observation and non-judgmental recording as a basis for program planning, implementation and assessment.

Roaring Fork Kids Daycare
Day care center.

Seed Sowers Christian Pre-School

Silver Lining Ranch Daycare
Day care center.

Wildwood School
The program they pursue is geared toward helping children develop habits of observation and discovery, questioning, listening and problem solving. Enveloped in an environment of fun where they feel loved and respected they develop an awareness of the uniqueness of who they are and how to express their feelings. They learn that they are free to make choices and that as long as they stay within the limits of consideration for people and things, they do not always have to conform. An open-ended program like theirs prepares children to utilize their intellectual and creative abilities in future learning tasks and in successfully relating to the world and their fellow individuals around them.
